According to new analysis by the Georgia poison center in the united states :
the calls related to young children ingesting hand sanitizer have been increased nearly 400% since 2010 .
Unfortunately there's a percentage of them end up in emergency room .
the amount of alcohol in hand sanitizer ranges from 45% to 95% .
by comparison, wine and beer contain about 5% and 12% of alcohol .
it means that hand sanitizer is really dangerous for the children, ingesting even small amount can cause alcohol poisoning for them .
In this year 2015 a six-year-old young girl swallowed three or four squirts of liquid hand sanitizer at school, that made her drunk and caused her to fall and hit her head .
When she arrived to the emergency room she was slurring her words and unable to walk .
Her blood-alcohol level was 179, this is twice what's considered legally drunk in an adult .
