1 – African elephants are the largest land animals on earth

2- African Elephants can be identified by their large ears that look like the continent of Africa.

3- Elephant ears radiate heat while they are  moved, to keep the Elephant cool

4- Also elephants are fond of water to reduce their body heat, by sucking water into their trunks and spraying it all over themselves, then they often spray their skin with coating of dust to keep the cool protected from the sunlight.

5- An elephant's trunk is a long nose used for
  smelling, breathing, trumpeting and grabbing things especially food, trunk alone contains more than 100,000 muscles
African elephants have two fingerlike feature on the end of their trunks they use them it to grab small items. Asian elephants have only one.

Males also use their tusks to battle one anther.
